    Thanks for the post’s guys.
I think the simple answer is no.
The workarounds a v helpful but to get rhough it quickly i have been simply matchframing back to the group clips and keeping an eye on ther locators.

    Lesson learnt for next time,
    Thanks again.

Can I ask also if the Apple one is the best, there seems to be a few alternatives.

Thanks for the post Pat and Michael.
You post Pat describes what I was hoping to be able to do.
Using the same drive, select a folder with the media I need to send.
So basically MC will always make a folder labelled 1 if there isn’t one in the MeadiFiles folder and a consoliadtion will go straight there.

That’s awesome, I will give that a go.
    Thanks v much.
    Dan.

July 2, 2015 at 9:21 am in reply to: New Mac, 3 monitors?

    Thanks for the post Shane.
I’m not sure I need an HD TV as a client monitor tbh.
I am working from home and it’s offline editing. I get clients come over maybe once a fortnight, mostly I export QT’s for remote viewings.

I was just thinking of just a third monitor, similar to the two I use (Hanns G) and have it full screen.

If this is possible, is it a case of simply plugging one in?

    Thanks again for help,
    Dan.
