    Thanks Shane,
Its a Mac Pro, and yes it does have thunderbolt.
I am currently running MC8 on two vga monitors via a thunderbolt converter.

I need a third monitor to run the full screen client monitor.

Is it a case of literally just plugging in a third monitor?

    Thanks for the help.
    Dan.

    Thanks for the post Glenn,
I have managed to sort it out now.

I stupidly deleted the databases expecting the drive to scan.
It didn’t so I rebuilt them and it worked.

I think it was a corrupt mdb.

    Cheers,
    Dan.

    Thanks for the post Michael.
I have a perpetual licence that runs for a year.
Do you know if it’s posdinle to de authorise the software from the new computer and then
    re authorise?

    Thanks for the advise,
    Dan.

    Hi Guys,
I have successfully trans-coded the rushes for the project I am working on. But the time code doesn’t seem to have made it across the conversion.

It had time of day code, two cameras, but has reset the start to zero for each clip.

Do you know why this has happened?

    many thanks in advance.
    Dan.

    Thanks for the post,
The guys have started to convert the footage to DNxHD QT’s.

I’ll have to work with this.

That should be ok shouldn’t it?

    Cheers,
    Dan.

    Thanks for the post John,
I think I agree with you on this.
Simplicity would be a better option here.

Can I ask which Pro res you think would be best?

    Many thanks,
    Dan.

    Thanks for the post Shane.
It’s just a promo idea for a Tv series.
The offline cut I deliver will be the final thing.

I shall ask them about the files you mentioned.

    Which would be preferable?

    Thanks again,
    Dan.
