Without a picture, it’s still difficult to fully diagnose it.
When I said motion blur in my previous post, I meant motion blur that is present in the clip before you’ve done anything else. Not motion blur added in After Effects.
If you try to stabilise a shot with natural motion blur in it, then it will look odd when stabilised. There’s nothing you can do about it, except smooth the stabilisation out so it’s not stabile so the effect is not so noticeable.

Simple method that springs to mind is track to a null. Create a new solid and parent that to the null. Use that solid as a track matte for your greenscreen, and roto the masks onto it.

Is the “slightly garbled motion” motion blur? If motion blur was recorded then stabilising or smoothing your footage will do nothing to remove it. In fact, stabilised footage with motion blur will look slightly odd because you’re seeing something associated with movement in a (now) static shot.
If that’s not the problem, you may have to expand your description (or post a picture).

Just checked out the clip, and Danny’s right. Rotoing them out is the way to go. But look at it this way, at least you’ve got an easy track as the basis for your roto layer. Those markers are solid :o)

What does the matte look like in Status mode?
If it looks good there, then it may be the spill suppression that’s a bit aggressive. Turn Keylight to Intermediate and do your spill suppression with a separate filter.
You also don’t say what the acquisition format is. If it’s a highly compressed format already, then this may be a natural consequence of that. There are a couple of good quick techniques for keying DV that might be useful – just do a quick forum search.

Sounds like you’ve got an issue with premultiplied alpha channels.
In list view in your bin FCP, make sure that your clip has the Alpha channel set to Premultiplied with Black. Or render out your clip in AE with a straight alpha instead of a premultiplied one.

There’s a little dropdown menu to the top right of your viewer window. In there set the viewer from Draft Quality to Automatic or High. (Doing this from memory, so the exact names might not be what I’ve said. It is in that dropdown though!)

It doesn’t look like the alpha – especially as you’re not rendering out an alpha.
How are you rendering out of After Effects – a lossless AVI? If you are not planning on doing any further work with it, then render it out to match your Premiere settings.
Another thought is, it could just be a phantom compression you’re seeing. Do you by any chance have your Premiere viewer set to Draft? It certainly looks like the sort of artefact you’d get if it was. If your render from AE looks good in another viewer(VLC or Media Player for example), then Premiere is the culprit.

Weeeeell… I suppose you could give it a try under Windows Compatibilty Mode, if you do have trouble running it natively.
I doubt that
many people are running such an old version on a Vista box, who could give you a definitive answer.Just to quote the System Requirements:
Intel Pentium processor
Windows 98 or NT 4.0
64MB RAM
80MB hard disk space for installation
Quicktime 4.01

My first thought is that you’re rendering with a straight alpha channel and previewing your file in an application that doesn’t display straight alpha as you would expect.
What happens when you view it in AE?
A picture might help.
