  • funny, it’s not fine on my computer, but my client didn’t seem to notice on her’s. Either she is not looking that close or something is wrong with the render. This is a new one for me, however this never happened on my old slower computer, funny how that is. Wish someone would weigh in on this too.

  • I had the same problem…I have sound fx of people being punched and they are all of with the MP4 but mpeg2 or m2t looks great. Something is up. what computer (processor/ram) are you using and version of vegas

You Guys are both great…and I appreciate your help. Turned off the anit virus…and check for back up and dedrag schedules…still the occasional 1 frame audio/video freeze glitch…baffled…Might try to render to another format, but MEPG2 is really what I need and use all the time. Never thought a new computer would cause more issues…any other thoughts?

Hi John, I did do a quick search and found that post and tried (I searched on google, sony and vasst too)…and as I think I mentioned that windows 7 won’t allow me to edit the CS file in notepad. Once I make the changes from the post and save it…vegas doesn’t recognized in the script menu…hence my post out of frustration…I even have production assistant, thought that might help too…but it didn’t.

I don’t understand why sony makes a batch render script that doesn’t include the region names. How do they think you would be able to organize your files?????

To Danny Hays your video looks awesome on you tube… can you break it down for me exactly how you made it look so good. Also I noticed it takes longer to load….why is that?

  • Wow this really worked…Thank you, Thank you. I wish I would have gotten this script from you from the getgo, it would have saved us both so much time. I really thank you for haning in there. People like you that make this forum a success. I have been to your site, but I never found this script there; is there other sites that have scripts like this, or others that you recommend? Again thank you Ed 🙂

  • I was just about to jump for joy and thank the lord that my 4 day search was over….that ed saved the day…I get this error
    C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas 7.0\Script Menu\BatchRender-Regions.cs(347) : ‘Sony.Vegas.RenderTemplate’ does not contain a definition for ‘FileExtensions’

To be sure I even tested it on another computer which i don’t use as much but also has vegas 7e on it, and works great, but this DAMN scripts are killing me. please dont give up on me now…kiddding, but what do you think it is
