mp4 render (SONY and Main Concept).. audio out of sync prolem
This has occurred with two clients now. I hope someone can assist.
I render my footage as an mp4, (HD 1280×720) and I can view the resulting 10 minute video perfectly using Quicktime
However, on my clients’ PCs…. the audio is out of sync, ( also using Quicktime to view)
I tried adjusting the audio of the template’ audio sample rate from 48,000 hz to 44,100 thinking that may be a problem but this did not change a thing.
What could be the problem?

I had the same problem…I have sound fx of people being punched and they are all of with the MP4 but mpeg2 or m2t looks great. Something is up. what computer (processor/ram) are you using and version of vegas

Hi Craig,
using Vegas 11 build 511, 12 GB RAM, i7 920.
As mentioned, it’s fine on my PC and laptop. It’s some of my clients’ PCs where it’s out of sync.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

funny, it’s not fine on my computer, but my client didn’t seem to notice on her’s. Either she is not looking that close or something is wrong with the render. This is a new one for me, however this never happened on my old slower computer, funny how that is. Wish someone would weigh in on this too.

I hope someone else pipes in too Craig as this is impeding my productivity/workflow.
