Hi guys

Why not just get them to call up on skype and you share your screen ? Open up you timecode window and pow instant pc/mac connectivity – I do it nearly every day … If you just want them to look at the clean video out option just select that monitor out on the skype share screen selection …

ok all I have done in the past is create a Flash Doc with a container in there – create the H.264 files

80K audio

and change the extensions .. you can also use flowplayer (bit of coding)

I created a site for my close friends that uses this technology ..

have a look and you will see the quality and load up speed, how are you loading the FLVs now ? via flash or another container ..

I have had massive success by creating a h264 at 500k with fast start and acc 80khz audio then all I do is change from a .mov the .flv – create a web page with flow player as a container and everyone can view it … No need for dup formats and looks awesome ( sorry starting to sound like mr jobs )

Hi Chris – that sounds like a world of hate – I am unaware of the durations of your footage but I would standard convert all of your footage to the deliverable format and edit with that – in this case it appears to be 1080p ?

Compressor can do a pretty good conversion but episode from telestream does a brilliant job but costs money – there is a free trial that transcode 30 of your footage so I would try that

Fcp can accepts all frame rates and play them out but if you are delivering to a broadcaster they could fail it on duplicated frames from a fcp time line conversion along with you trying to sync audio from a pal 25fps source I would defiantly standard convert first …

Only Episode and Adobe Media Encoder are the best on the MAC PLATFORM for 4:2:2 Chroma …

10-15 VBR in Long GOP seems quiet small for TV Delivery, as is is PAL and England normally accepts only 50 iFrame 4:2:2 I know no UK Broadcaster would accept 10-15 Mbps at 4:2:2 …

Hi there click on the clip you want select distort – think -33.33 or 33.33 then scale to 120 percent – apple 0 on the sequence and select anamorphic

You will lose quality and if you are attempting this for broadcast you will need to insure all you titles and supers are within safe title

This is for a PAL sequence NTSC may vary slightly
