    Morning MooCowers,

    Been searching a while for this and I need some help – my company accepts commercials to distribute to TV Stations.

    I have a company running Media Composer 5.0.3 MAC and we normally request a DNx220 59.94 for HD

    Question

    They have posted in 23.98 how can they do a pulldown on export to 59.94 ? also if they need to export to 29.97 where is the pulldown introduced ?

    Thanks a million guys – we in europe still live in a PAL world and the broadcasters are sticking to 25 for a few more years to come so we are not just ready to receive 23.98

    PS – yes I know we are PAL but we ingest NTSC assets as well /..

    Craig,

    Technically, a symphony does this on the fly (which is why it’s so expensive)

    Software only?
    Create a 1080 30i (59.97) project. Open the bin from the 23.98 project.
    Dupe the sequence into a new bin.
    Open the timeline and MC will auto dupe & conform it to 30i
    MC will add motion adapters to every clip.
    Check how things look
    Output.
