The vfx you are thinking of is like the matrix ? If so that is done on set with a load of cameras set up in a arc then ingest each camera use a point to sync up – freeze frame it and bingo bango effect – other option is to model everthing in 3d – both options are not plugins sorry to say – also check out cmi – google – they are more vfx focused

UPDATE
Ok if anyone is looking at doing this try this
MPEGstream Clip – Highlight all the Movs you want and drag into MPEGstreamclip – it will stitch them together – make whatever you want
Download this qtsync – Brilliant program – it inserts TC and loads of other stuff – create a self contained movie – Bingo Bang !
Hope that helps …

Yep I came accross this a while ago and it has completely stumped me – I use handbrake and mpegstreamclip but what I have found which is crazy is the avi settings work perfectly – remember you will need the render everything so unless you are just grabbing bits that’s ok if you have to use large chunks then convert everything to a native codec fir fce – hope this helps

Guys trust ne when I say.I hate AVI more then Sunday lunch with the in-laws BUT I recently transcoded over 500 DVDs with handBrake with fantastic results – I did do over 150 titles is mp4 and some would work done would not – these titles are for pitch and mood reels only so they won’t play in real time – BUT compared to transcode of certain parts to ProRes rguawirk for us – I sing and dance to handbrake ONLY with AVI trust me it pains me to type the letters let alone endorse it !
