hi there, well there is a few ways you can do this.
Id use this tutorial for the reflection part :https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/3d_reflections_with_refractions/
Arrange the elements in a circle in 3dspace round a null object.
Once all are positioned parent all the elements to the null. then u can rotate them all at once by editing the appropriate rotation vales on the Null object.
Hope this helps!

trapcode shine would work well but if you dont wanna spend out a load of money you might be able to tweak an effect i made a tutorial on how to create lighting effects without shine.
Doing the 3d move will be the hard bit.
Tutorial link:
https://vimeo.com/2601856it might not do quite what you are after and if not i would also say.. trapcode shine!

January 4, 2009 at 11:29 pm in reply to: How2 create a “compression-error” transition-filterI have done this before but only for a couple of seconds. I did it on a logo animation and this technique worked really well, though it is more time intensive (but a load cheaper!)
So i had a logo that i wanted to “glitch” up. I took the logo into photoshop and literally took parts of it and applied the pixelate filter to it. saved this on a different layer.
did this a few times with varying amount of pixelation and added some color variances to boot.
Once brought in i jus animated the layers over to the top of the original for a couple of frames then back, you kinda have to play with it a bit.
I then went and found a glitch sound effect from somewhere and bingo the effect was done and it was pretty believable. If i were to do it again i would probably use a nested comp where i applied a time expression to it so it jumped about a bit more randomly.
Hope this is another method of use!

hmm true! I had in my mind that if i had a autotraced element then i could use combinations of masks & duplicates that would interact with the auto traced mask. Might do some more digging as i am a bit of a novice on 3d programs,
Thanks anyway!
