    Hey all!
I want to replicate the effect used quite a bit nowa days, where you have floral / filigree graphics growing round keyed actors. I started with a test where by i animated a pic of an arm moving and did an auto trace of its alpha.

I dont know if that was right but my feeling was to have duplicates of the graphical layer with the auto traced mask interacting to allow for the graphical layer at a defined point to switch to the other side of the arm.

I could be barking up the wong tree and it will be a question of using keframed masks.

    Any ideas?

    Cheereo!

hmm true! I had in my mind that if i had a autotraced element then i could use combinations of masks & duplicates that would interact with the auto traced mask. Might do some more digging as i am a bit of a novice on 3d programs,

    Thanks anyway!
