Well, the question I have always had was when Optibase purchased Media 100 – why did Media 100’s stock become worthless?
I have 7500 shares of Media 100 stock valued at .001 per share which equals $8.

Do you guys see the lack of HDMI being the reason for the price drop & do you see it being an issue for using this monitor in a Home Theatre System a year from now?…

I’ll trade you 7,750 shares of Media 100 stock for your monitor. I’ll even throw in 300 shares of Delta stock…

Thanks Walter.
Just added the VX-2000 to the list. Should have a few more Sony cameras added next week.
First I have to get through the “48 Hour Film Project” this weekend which I will be shooting & using an AspectCorrect…
Good luck to everyone involved!

Well, I may have a miracle taking place.
This is my configuration:
Slot 4 – Atto 4
Slot 3 – Kona 2
Slot 2 – Tempo X
Slot 1 – ATI CARDand it seems to be working fine, so far. My biggest problem was that my Kona-2 got fried when I put in the Sonnet card for some reason.
Here are my bench tests. Keep in mind the following. My Huge drive is 1.2 TB and has 100 GB free. The Sata drives are empty:
Huge benchmark tests:

1) Kano X-Spand Enclosure with 4 Seagate 400 GB drives rev 8 & 1 Kano X-Spand Enclosure with 2 Seagate 400 GB drives rev 8 = 6 drives total

If I have any Kona performance issues, I will try moving the cards around as you have suggested….

July 12, 2005 at 7:39 pm in reply to: 8 Port Sata Controller Slot Configurations for G5 with Kona 2Well, the problem is that my Kona-2 card died the moment I installed the Tempo-X card. I don’ t know why as I did not touch it.
Working with AJA support, I was unable to have it work again with no other PCI cards installed.
But, I have a second Kona-2 that I have installed and it is working alongside the Sonnet card…

Slot 4 – Atto 4
Slot 3 – Kona 2
Slot 2 – Tempo X
Slot 1 – ATI CARDThe problem is that when I install the Tempo X card into the G5, it no longer recognizes the Kona 2 card.”
If I put the Tempo X card in Slot 3 and the Kona in 2, the Kona-2 card will not show up there either…

Apparently if you remove the cable that attaches to the second internal SATA drive (if you have one) in your G5, then it will fit.
But, I want to keep my Atto in slot 4… it is not shared.

[Mark Lyon] “Is this typical”
I can’t speak to your situation, but I would say that AJA probably has better customer support of any company that I have dealt with in the NLE world… This was a big reason why I stuck with their product from V1 to V2…My best advice would be to give them another call.
