    Hi,

I would strongly recommend you buying & reading “The DVX Book.”

    https://www.dvxuser.com/articles/dvxbook/

It will give you an insight into using the anamorphic adapter (and the camera) that you probably won’t find anywhere else….

I recently purchased the anamorphic adapter for my camera from B&H but basically returned it after reading this book – largely because I shoot in low light situations at longer focal lengths and sharpness was going to be an for me issue… (Plus I would rather put that money towards the new camera at this point.)

So, you may want to make sure the adapter works for your shooting situations.

you know, I was interested in G-Tech’s RAID products, but after reading all of the complaints on the COW about customer service, or lack there of, I went with Kano’s SATA enclosures… You might want to see they have what you are looking for:

Customer service has been great so far.

[AJA Sales Department] “Good luck, and make sure Clay takes the lens cap off 😉

geez, if only I had seen this last week it would have saved me hours of reading the manual that came with these things…

note to self, “take the lens cap – off.”

    Thanks.

If I recall correctly from the previous update I ran, I had a similar problem.

I believe the solution was the following – make sure you completely uninstall everything pertaining to the AJA drivers. Even after you run the uninstaller do a search and find any other components. Then re-run your new installer.

    I think this may help.

This was my first NAB so I cannot compare it to any previous ones.

It was great to meet the people from AJA and the Creative Cow!

I enjoyed the Apple & Avid areas. It was quite amazing to see everything.

That being said I don’t want to hear the acronym “HD” or walk anywhere for a day or so…

[Ron] “I’m not sold on the P2 drives yet,”

Ron, it sounds like your P2 hypnosis may have worn off. Please return to the Panasonic Booth ASAP. 🙂
