Although all the articles I have been reading in various magazines and online have been praising Pluraleyes for what it can do, I have found it to be a pain in the neck. It was syncing the wrong stuff up! It was taking video and syncing it with audio that didn’t match. It took some of my footage and through some 10 minutes down the timeline for no stupid reason! I was furious! LOL! I was in constant contact with their customer service and I never really got it to work. Now that I don’t have any pressing projects to work on, I may play around with it some more and try to figure it out again!

I am guessing you are oppose to working with Apple’s 30 inch display as well. The size of my screen is not an issue for me. I like having the extra screen space and fonts and logos are normal size. I chose the correct resolution for my TV when I set it up to the computer for editing so everything is fine on that end. No strain on the eyes either.

My current file out of my Zoom H4N audio recorder is 44.1Khz 16 bit .wav file. I already know how to import it into iTunes and convert over to a Aiff file, but I am not sure how I go about changing the setting from 44.1khz to 48khz. Any insight on this or does it matter?

Wow I am about to start editing a project with .wav files so this is good to know. Now can a wav file be converted over to a AIFF file?

I tried an HD codec and noticed better results in terms of playing back my timeline. When I exported and burned a DVD in iDVD, I noticed the same interlaced look. Before you start ripping me, I am going to sit down this weekend and learn DVDSP and hopefully that will give me some better results! It seems that my issue is when I go to burn the dvd.

My project is completely finished so are you saying that I should copy my project, create a new 30p project in a HD codec and paste everything there? In terms of exporting what is the best one to use? There is no video elements in this piece, just pictures and graphics I created in Motion3. Actually I used motion to create about 6 minutes of the slideshow. The rest was created in FCP. I need to check the export settings I used in Motion as well.

I just spoke with someone from B&H and they said I would not be able to sync up the audio to the camera because there is no timecode on the recorder but he did say I could match the audio to the video as best I could in post.

Do you create the quicktime movie of your images with QT PRO then import that movie file into Motion and then follow the directions you listed? If you use QT PRO are you using the still image sequence option or something like that? Those links you posted were for after effects unless you were saying I can create the same thing in Motion. I have since finished the Motion part of my slideshow but I would like to try your idea at some point so I will know how to do it next time around!

There is a cool plugin for doing slideshows in FCP called Image Flow V2 from Coremelt. They have a demo movie on their page and it looks pretty cool. https://www.coremelt.com then search for Image Flow V2.
