If you are using a LHI card you need to find the composite input. This camera is not using an SDI signal even though it’s BC. This camera has a composite connection and you can use your LHI card without converters and such you just need the breakout cable for you LHI, find the composite input and configure the card correctly.

Maybe the 6D Mark II will be their 4k Sub $3000 entry perhaps. Full frame, All the features of the 70D, Make it happen canon.

I think it’s a awesome stills camera but with the GH4 at the same price point shooting 4k and the A7s having crazy low light performance and 4k to an external recorder, I think canon may have just, at least for now, ceded the DSLR Video market. Yes their Cinema DSLR shoots 4K but it’s also $15,000. There are now almost a dozen camera for under $10,000 that shoot in 4K. I don’t think the pre-orders for this camera are going to sell out like the GH4 and the A7S did.

You know that AMD Processors are not officially supported by Avid MC 6. I had a similar problem with my Intel system but solved by turning hyper threading back on. I am not sure how to solve the problem with an AMD system.

Actually I have gotten non branded audio interfaces to work through the windows mixer option in avid.

And the answer is…..Hyper Threding. I had turnd off Hyperthreding on my system when I built it but it seems that the IO express likes this feature.

I just called them. They said it might be a problem with the firmware. The unit works great with adobe Premier however.
