    Then stabilize after the edit is locked.

    V.E.R. is another one but they’re on the NE side, outside city limits.
    I would look at independents as well, video production companies sometimes will rent out a kit for you.

    Redundancy is key.
    Back up the P2 Media to 2 or hard drives.
    Spin up the hard drives that are sitting on the shelf every 6 months.

    Up to you, depends on what you feel like.
    If you have a lot of it, then I would wait till the edit is locked and then ONLY stabilize the footage you need.
    W/CS6, we won’t have to go out to AE to do it.

    You didn’t mention what you shoot. That has a huge bearing.
    Do you need to shoot HD??? Then you need a new cam.
    Only need SD? Then you’re set.
