In compressor, select a dvd preset and cntrl click on it and select duplicate. Then you can select the quality tab and lower the data rate.

Use a dual layer dvd-r.
3 hours a side.
keep lowering the data rate til it fits.

What is the audio format/specs when you are importing these files?
Have you tried doing a mix down of the audio b/4 export.You should convert all audio to 48k aif or wav before importing into the edit.

You can swap out the cards while recording as well.
You can NOT put Card#3 in all the way until after you it record again if you want to make sure.In the end though, it all does not matter. Put all the footage into a folder on the comp. and go.

Loading footage in time, should be billable, IMO.

Your camera only shoots DVCPRO HD.
You will not gain any quality converting to Prores.
You will just use up time and Hard Drive space doing so.The exception would be if you were effects heavy, a lot of effects and grading, and even then I’m not so sure b/c the original is DVCPROHD, does not apply to some basic coloring/FX/Gfx IMO.
