Backup your card media and/or tape masters. Always, without fail, with redundancy.
Delete the media when the edit is done and mastered.
You can reload if need be via EDL/TC/Proj. Sequences.

You are correct, Title safe is where you are safe for visuals not being cut-off. This includes grfx.

Turn it on and shoot.Lighting, Lighting, Lighting will make the shot or break it.

APP has a known problem with Animation codec and alpha – don’t use it.
Use Prores4444 w/ alpha instead when you need alpha channel.Edit you camera files raw, in their native format, this is what APP is designed to do. It will create/render preview files while editing.
Export final edit to create your master and deliverables.
