Had an interesting experience with my 250 today and I am wondering if anyone else has seen this. I was shooting some green screen footage and I could see some faint concentric circles in the viewfinder on the green screen. It was definitely coming from the camera as when I panned around the circles would move with the pan. It did not show up on the video files from the P2 cards but was noticeable on the flip out monitor and on the HDSDI out to an outboard monitor.

I have shot green screen with it before and never noticed this. Maybe I just didn’t see it till now, I don’t really know. It was almost as if there was a circle pattern burned in on the display.

Anyone else see this on a 250?

Thought I would follow up on this as I figured out the issue. Turns out the Tiffen UV Protector lens filter I had screwed on was causing this. As soon as I popped it off the circles were gone. Interesting though how the camera seemed to filter the issue out on the recorded content.
