    Hey everyone

We have a green screen shoot in the coming few days, we were only able to rent the HPX250 P2 Panasonic and this is the first time i work with P2 cameras, I’m looking for tips on setting it up to get the best results on a green screen.

I will not be the one doing the Camera work, but i would like to have all the settings set on the best conditions to get best results from the green screen cz its very important

    Production manager

    Thanks in advance!

    You’ll be fine.
    Turn it on and shoot.

Lighting, Lighting, Lighting will make the shot or break it.

I agree with Chris: Lighting is the key. You will also want to have the camera in DVCPro50 mode which is 4:2:2. DVCPro and DV mode are only 4:1:1.

I would shoot it in HD!

AVC-Intra is a 10 bit codec, so if I were shooting green screen I would want it in AVC-Intra 100.

Thought so, just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

    Good Luck!

Agreed. AVC-Intra 100 is the way to go.
