David is right, buying that MacPro now is not a wise investment.
Buy the biggest, fastest iMac you can, It will edit for you just fine.
    Get some external ThunderBolt drives.

There is no magic wand, sorry.

In premiere, you can double up the video layer and create a mask.
Cut out a section of the white shirt nearby without fiber, place it over the fiber on V1 track.

It’d be easier in After Effects.

I was just annoyed to death by that today in fact.
It’s to big and to annoying, I wish I could turn it off.

I don’t have much to say on the 32bit and the 64bit thing.
64 is better if software and machine are up for it, so I choose YES.

    Hey Rafael,

Your late, where ya bin?? 😉

Are you looking to convert BEFORE you edit?

B/c you don’t need to with APP.

Import your clips, drop one on the “make a sequence to match” icon on the bottom of the browser/project.

When the edit is done, export and send to Queue AME,

    THERE, you can make progressive.

With the audio, select the audio in the browser and “right” click “cntrl” and choose options/properties and there you can change the audio

CS6 is a big improvement BTW.

  • I too have been waiting a long time for an update. Really disappointed in the MacPro announcement – little change and no TB!!!!

They say late in 2013 we’ll see new MacPro’s (again) and new iMacs.

    I need something NOW!
