SIMPLE object removal?
So I have ten minutes of interview with a massive, thick, jagged, and very black fiber stuck on the sensor, on top of a white shirt. Never moves, just sits there, glaring at me with contempt.
I have looked at CHV, Foundry, and they are designed to sample for, and remove, stuff that only shows up for one frame. I have TMTS, can’t make heads or tails of the instructions, plus those instructions imply that it too is single-frame only.
I don’t own any high end image manipulation software, nor is there budget for any.
I do have older versions of Composer and Premiere, but don’t know them yet.
Is there a magic wand I can wave at this thing, send it to fiber hell?

There is no magic wand, sorry.
In premiere, you can double up the video layer and create a mask.
Cut out a section of the white shirt nearby without fiber, place it over the fiber on V1 track.It’d be easier in After Effects.

CHV have a clone & paint plugin that will let you clone a section of white shirt over the object. This is not a dropout fixer.
I have used this to remove objects quite successfully. It can be keyframed if there are small movements.

I’m in touch with CHV and he thinks he has a solution for me, a bit custom.
Just volunteered it. Sweet. Hope it works.I’ve been trying FCP mattes in dual layers, and it looks like it could work. But not yet. So far all efforts look like some doofus is trying to hide something. Ouch. Still looking for that secret sauce.
