If you media is HQ, then just change the sequence codec back to HQ, Sequence-settings.
Then render.
Now, you can export using current settings. AND, you’ll match.

You’ll need more then 4 hours of their time.
You need to arrive HOURS ahead of show time for setup.
You need to run an audio feed into a camera too. Are you genlocking the camera for sync? Makes post much better.

It’s a huge leap of faith. It sounds like it might be a lifestyle that fits you. Like others have mentioned, DON’T offer to make videos for 400 bucks. Good lord a typical day of production for a 1 man crew with lighting and audio will cost on average $600-$1400 depending on market. That’s just for a shoot day.
You can get low premium health insurance policy that are for catastrophic only and save on the monthly premiums but you need cash for the little things.
Can you live off the free-lance revenue you have now?

The format you shoot in ~ IS NOT going to affect the amount of light the camera is picking up.
You need to boost up the gain and open the iris.
The 170 is not the best for low-light, it’s going to be grainy/noisy at best.
Have you looked at the low light abilities of DSLRs?

APP uses “preview” files for editing, they do not show your final quality.
Exporting sequence show yield your highest quality, depending on what you’re compressing to.

Ya, I recently drove 8 hours for a gig. Would have to be farther to justify flying.
Needed lighting and audio, did not want to bother with the flight and it was actually only a couple of hours longer then the quicker and more hassle route. And I had all my gear with me in the car.

If you format the drive FAT32 or eXFat, both WIN and MAC can read it just fine.
