What is your end deliver you are trying to get to?
Youtube/Vimeo?The question you have is why is it to dark? Or how to CC better?

At the bottom of the rocker is an adjustment screw.
Turn it just a little, like less then 1/4 turn and then check it.Chris

P2CMS copies and verifies the P2 media.
As does Shotput pro.Verify is much better then manual drag/copy.
You can also hook up a USB drive to the cam in the field and dump card media off onto the HD.

You can get a lens controller like Varizoon and an extension cable.Chris

Well, your composite out is going to be down-converted SD signal.
Confirm the other end is not wanting/needed and HD signal, since it’s SDI, it might very well be.
How about renting a HPX170 instead?

If you choose the MPEG2 BluRay preset it would NOT have made af4v file.
You should see a .m2v file for the video track and a .wav or .ac3 depending on which audio setting you choose.
Why not use Adobe Encore to author your disc?
