What are all the specs in the browser on the clips?

Under 1080i the video can be:

1080i – 60i (AWKA 29.97) – this will be Upper Fields

1080i – 30p
1080i – 24p
1080i – 24pa
1080i – 24pn

Yes.

If you are going to SD DVD and no Future need for a Bluray/HD file then
Edit in a SD sequence.

Drop the SD file into a new sequence and let FCP match it.

Then drop in the HD clips and resize/position as needed.

Having the same frame rates will be wise as well.

What are your doing when you say BURN???? Are you just exporting?

File Export (CMD E)
Give it a name – go.

Should take 2 minutes tops.

Take the exported file and drop it into your compression program to create your deliverables.

Then you have 4×3 – not widescreen, not letterboxed.

You don’t need to recapture anything.
