If you right click, you can choose relink media…
In the browser is the “reel” name of the clip.
Although I find with P2 material, there doesn’t seem to be a reel name, it is a pain.Chris Tompkins

Drop a clip on the “create new sequence” icon @ the bottom of the browser. Let FCP match it up for you.

“right” click on the tracks in the browser and modify the aud tracks B/4 you drop them in a sequence.

It will probably look fine.
Open the sequence up in QT7 and export a mov file to match your sequence.

Ya, your double compressing that’s why.
Out put the Prores HD master.
Quit FCP.
Launch Compressor.
Drop the HD file into Compressor.
Choose DVD Preset.
Adjust frame controls and data rate to maximize quality.
Render.
Launch DVDSP.
Import Assets to create your SD-DVD.
