I recently captured some DV footage with two Mono tracks rather than a single stero track. However when I place the footage in a new sequence I get the DV footage and single stero track even though I have Mono tracks available in the sequence. When I try to have Premiere create a new sequence from the footage I get the samething. Going back to the source I can see I have video footage and two mono waveforms for each clip. So I was able to go back and import the mono waveforms and put them in same sequence and just get rid of the stero track, but this may turn into a large project and don’t want to have do this for all clips. Is there a setting I am missing — Any suggestions?

“right” click on the tracks in the browser and modify the aud tracks B/4 you drop them in a sequence.
