It sounds like you are trying both – mounting/controlling the camera and importing the P2 footage.

You can DL all you want but it’s about choosing the best tool for the job. I don’t know if you could build that in APP.
AE is where you want to be to build that.

I understand you are a novice with AE. You will have to learn it to create stuff like that. IMO.

Well, at least it’s end of the year time.

You can use that as a reason for a rate increase.

If you feel you need a big increase – do half of it starting Jan. 1st 2012 and another jump July 1st 2012.

If that Sony Cam shot it in the HDV codec – I don’t believe that 200 will play it…

First, have the cam on and connected to mac B/4 launching FCP.
Select an easy setup that matches what’s shot.

Rendering a 90 min. HD clip to SD DVD could take a LONG time depending on the machine used.
Just wait it out.
