I have an LH and a Beta deck, and on occasion it does this, trashing prefs has always fixed it for me.

Hey Dan,

You showed some character there, that’s nice.

BTW with LiveType (and this is for the original poster too) I have always rendered my titles, as there are usually more than one in a job, so my LiveType projects always have a bunch of layers as a result, So I just turn them on in turn, and render each.

I meant to add, I also agree with David’s workflow recommendation, even though I DO own a Kona card, because I can zoom, pan and tilt with 1080 material in and SD timeline, and work on the same projects at work where I DON’T have a Kona card.

I have to agree with Dean. Repeated shopping at my Apple store resulted in some pretty nice discounts. Besides, Mac products are not typically discounted by other resellers.

I COMPLETELY agree with David. Dan, that was very rude. Plus assuming the poor guy has a $2500 card is a really arrogant presumption, as though you were saying, “What stupid, you don’t have a Kona card?” You owe him an apology.

PhotoZoomPro costs a couple hundred bucks, it is well worth the investment, you can make it back on other projects. This is exactly what you need, trust me.

In my shop, CC is the last thing we do before spots go to stations, so all filters are history.

Assuming your grabs are clean without a lot of edge artifacts, the best thing you can do is blow them up using PhotoZoomPro. Blow them up to at least your frame size or bigger if you want to move on them. This does not scale, it creates new pixels, it is truly amazing and I use it all the time for exactly this.

Alternatively you can just use them small, depends on your design.
