is this one of those deals where you have to constantly adjust where the matte is? I am thinking so. so do you go frame by frame or chunk by chunk?
and is it easier to use After Effects or should I use what is in Prem Pro 2?

February 15, 2008 at 1:54 am in reply to: Premiere Pro 2 audio/visual synching issues HDit is off ever so slightly….annoyingly slightly, as you probably know from editing and viewing…it was one of those deals where it messes with your head because it is not so far off that it is off, but just enough to make you realize something is not quite right….
I have some other people trying to watch on their HD TV’s and I thought that they had similar issues….
I should have them watch on a computer DVD player and maybe a non-upcomverting DVD player just to see how we want to deal with this.
thx

February 15, 2008 at 1:51 am in reply to: Premiere Pro 2 audio/visual synching issues HDI was thinking that it had something to do with the TV, but I did not know. then I thought even if it played well on the computer, what would be the best way to pitch the show. If there are issues with Upconverting then I would have to make sure the viewer watches it on a non-HD DVD player.
One other thing I can do is play on my other non-upconvert DVD player that is hooked up to the TV to see what other variables I can eliminate.
The S video is another idea, but using the other DVD player might be one way to eliminate some of the questions.
thx

January 13, 2006 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Moving pictures – masking like 24 the show (& commercials/videos) – AE 5.5Okay, I will check that out this weekend. What I thought was strange was trying to get the shot within the mask to essentially end up in 2D and 3D. I am guessing is what I am trying to do. I am assuming that is what you noted above.
I do like some of the settings though with the masking. it looks like a lot can be done.
Also, do most people run the video through AE then import back into the NLE program and synch back up the audio. I am quite the novice on AE Audio and have not used it that much….from what I read people mostly use it for synching up audio effects with Visual effects. Otherwise they import to the NLE system and match it up there….
Just wondering.

I just tried to set up the most basic DVD. I inported the transcoded footage, grabbed a menu and set the link to the default play. I checked for errors, then tried to build, but i get that abnormal error deal. I think something bigger is at work here.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
