You will NEVER make a video with a transparent bkg. You will make a video with an ALPHA channel, that you can then use to make the bkg transparent in some other application. And you probably already did that while exporting your footage, or so it sounds like.
For example, you bring in footage for greenscreen keying. The footage has a Red, Green, and Blue channel.{RGB} You key out the green using the AE toolset, and render out a QT (or png, or targa or whatever you prefer) as a video with RGBA. The A stands for the new alpha channel. This new footage file can then be imported into something like Premiere Pro and because it has access to the alpha channel it can generate a transparent bkg.

What happens if immeadiately after the clip is finished conforming, you restart Premiere? I imagine the RAM should get flushed, but the clip will not need conforming again.

So is it that the audio was recorded so low it doesn’t register a timeline waveform??
Why can’t you normalize the audio in Premiere?

Yes, rolling edits would require trimming your clips, otherwise you would not have any footage to roll with. BUT, why not use the slide tool – shortcut ‘U’ key?

The red frames come from either a camera glitch or a capture glitch. I have encountered both cases. If it is a capture glitch, you can just re-upload that portion.

Since I don’t see any shading going on in the BG, what about placing a same colored solid just under the text in 3d space to block out the blur spill from the cameras view.

I don’t see why purchasing an old version of AE from someone should be illegal. Making copies would be, I understand.
Then again, I never really read the ostentatious agreements with any software. I just click the “I agree” and install! 🙂

While your expression idea sounds good, it doesn’t sound like Particular has per particle attributes – just global. You may need to use something like MAYA or 3DMAX.

However, there should be no scale influence from a 2d pan or tilt. Basic AE or Mocha tracking should suffice. The boxes and the new BG need to share the same perspective is all. But, if you actually moved the camera in 3d space then a 3d tracker will probably be neccessary to get the shot spot on.

How difficult would it be for you to swap one of the working machines HD with one of the non-working machines? Just to test if it is the harddrive.
