Try moving the stills up onto video track 2 – or whatever the next higher video track is – and drop the cross-dissolve on the heads and tails of each, or manually animate their opacity in and out with key-frames.
Whenever I have cross-fade issues, this seems to work.

First off, mpeg DVD is a SD DVD format, hence the 720×480. You are likely mistaking it for the mpeg bluRay DVD format which it is not.
When testing you should render out only a few seconds or so using different settings to compare quality. When you find something satisfactory, then render out the entire project.
Are you burning this to a BluRay disk? I am sure you can find posts here for appropriate settings to make a HD DVD.

The scene.mov is using the floor solid as a track matte to provide a transparency. That is why the floor layer eyeball should be ticked off.

Two approaches pop into mind…
1- Creating duplicates of the objects as they would appear lit by the lasers, and keying the transparency from 0-100 at the right time.
2- Using some AE 3d lights to reveal the objectsKeyframming is unavoidable unless using a time driven expression as far as I can tell.

Why are you not animating the position parameters of the object? I don’t understand the need to animate the anchor point property.
To animate the x and y position property separately, you need to use an expression. In CS3 there is a preset called seperateXYZ in the presets folder. In CS4 and above I guess check this out….

July 30, 2011 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro CS3 imported .mpg audio gets out of sync with videoHave you had any “red-frame” insertions in the clip?
I have noticed many times MPEG footage going out of sync in CS3 after dropped frames were detected. But in media player, all plays fine. CS4 fixed this issue. One thing I’ve done in the past is extract the audio from the MPEG in Audition, save it out as a .wav, and then create a new sequence in your project with the original video and this new audio lined up. Then I opened the new sequence in the source monitor and edited with it normally.
Most of the times this worked! I think it’s a codec issue.

June 28, 2011 at 4:41 pm in reply to: A couple of issues re. Premiere keyframe/blending roundtripSeems like you should have done the keyframing in AE instead of
PPro – would of been tons easier, no?What I normally do is render out the AE comp to something fairly lossless like QT-photo-jpeg or MicrosoftDV (for SD stuff), then in Premiere, import the file and use the “replace with clip from bin” command on the clip to be swapped.

Sorry, Bad post on my part.
