that does sound similar.

I was planning on doing the swap out to my other system before
doing a complete rebuild/install.

you’re sure the tracks are all enabled and the levels adjustment
is not all the way down, or the mixer settings set for solo
or anything like that?

try exporting a .wav or .aif file

then encode the movie for dvd and author it using the separate exported audio.

see if the audio is still missing.

I have 24″ single displays through quadro 4000 on both my 10.6.8 systems if that
helps anyone reading this thread.

what kind of problems did you have Don?

One of my macs with quadro 4000 randomly locks up.
the display is frozen, caps lock and mouse don’t work

but if a file was copying the indicator lights are still flashing and
it completes.

I think it “might” be my quadro causing it.

I’m still running 10.6.8

CS 5.5 and CS 6 work perfectly fine as expected.

Trey please keep us up to date on the issue and
any workaround or fix you find.

I don’t use Encore except for simple blu-ray discs,
and I have more faith in CS 6 since its a 64-bit re-write
but this problem your having is a doozy.

Sounds like CMYK issue to me.

I’ve found that if you have a sequence using lots of still images, premiere
generally doesn’t “like” for them to be much larger than 4k. They should
show up, but working with them can be sluggish.

At least that was the case with CS 6. 6.01 update might be better.

Chris, they’re cheap now because they are end of life and no longer supported.
no cs6 drivers. (I just sold mine for this reason)

The LHi and LHe Plus, 3 & 3G are still supported.

What are you using for Storage?

Some kind of RAID is pretty much a requirement these days.

there are minor irritations like that.

the time saving alone for being able to drop any video file format
at any framerate without transcoding is why I really dig it.
