  • Premiere Pro/Media Encoder Missing Audio On Export

So after doing a few google searches, I am still unable to find a solution or a reason for this problem occurring. All audio and video plays fine in my Premiere Pro sequence timeline. I can hear everything and levels look good. However, once I go to do a batch export through Media Encoder, the final movie file is missing some tracks of audio. Maybe all of them, maybe only a few. Recheck in Premiere and everything looks good, try and re-export and same problem.

It seems to be a problem with the dynamic link between premiere and media encoder or it for some reason can’t find the source file except I can’t figure out why it’s happening or a way to correct the problem. I’ve seen some people suggest running it through after effects or sound booth or some other weird solution but this problem happens to often for those to be reasonable solutions.

I’m not doing anything with filters or crazy audio effects. It’s basic editing that seems like it should just work but it’s not.

Any thoughts? I’d imagine this is a pretty common problem.

you’re sure the tracks are all enabled and the levels adjustment
is not all the way down, or the mixer settings set for solo
    or anything like that?

try exporting a .wav or .aif file

then encode the movie for dvd and author it using the separate exported audio.

see if the audio is still missing.
