I’m trying to remember this as well, it wasn’t an easy thing if I recall.
was HDV 4 channel audio limited to 32khz? (like DV)

here’s one thing to try: enable the HDR tick box if you’re using lumetri panel.
sometimes it blows out stuff and enabling HDR will get you some more range without a blowout.

The help file for premiere says you can export a quicktime with embedded captions,
but it doesn’t work when I specify embedded captions on export. -
try double clicking last point?
The handles are both useful (at times) and annoying/messy when not needed.

Have you tried trashing preferences? They Might have not gone away with the uninstall.
google it.

I know that an mpeg transport stream can have embedded captions, but for some
reason Adobe doesn’t support that and sometimes I get that requested as a broadcast
deliverable and have to work around it. -
Interesting. Sometimes it takes a different encoder to get those options.

To be fair the updates for me at least (MAC) are always great/stable every other release.
The most stable version ever for me of all time was CC.Then the next release is chock full of trouble and I don’t use it until the update gets patched.
Some times I skip a version altogether.This appears to be on track as an unuseable version (still on 2015.2 with hardly any issues)

To my knowledge, none of those file types support embedded captions (MP4, WebM, and OGG)…side car yes but not embedded unless they are burned into the video itself.

ya someone else said an adobe rep told them to roll back the driver and it worked.
