gotcha….I have read others using windows 10 having other issues as well.

are you outputting to an external monitor?
if so, does the video come back if you disable mercury transmit?

Looking forward to the Lumetri updates most. (and that smoother 4k playback someone mentioned.
I have found every other release to be stable for me….i think this one should be hahah.
But I always clone a system disk update first just to be sure.

Not likely, as someone said CS6 is end of lifed.
If it helps to know I’m pretty sure around CC or CC 2014 they made changes so that
the project files don’t get nearly as big. -
haven’t seen that, one possible work around if your against the wall on
a deadline, mark in / out the section and export a wav. bring that in
and mute the sped up one. -

May 27, 2016 at 8:18 pm in reply to: I’m having trouble setting up and outputting broadcast audio correctlyTypically it has to do with layouts for foreign language releases.
They want them there but empty if a surround sound version is made
with isolated nat sound / dialogue / music etc…Makes little sense to me (for a stereo deliverable) but was told that from a person that
worked at an asian broadcast facility. -
I will often move a project from one room (each room has its own raid storage)
to another and the only issue I have encountered is premiere building new .pek
files. It used to do that every time a project was moved, but since cc 2014 it only
makes new .pek files 2 times at most then never again.curious, are you not able to select all your bins and reconnect all the media?

May 26, 2016 at 4:34 pm in reply to: What is rendering? Is it necessary to render the work area?to my knowledge:
yellow stripe = it might play it smooth
red stripe = will probably not play smooth
green stripe = will absolutely play smooth

May 26, 2016 at 4:19 pm in reply to: What is rendering? Is it necessary to render the work area?If you’re getting smooth playback without rendering then you probably don’t need to.
If you’re getting choppy playback when f/x are applied and or a client is watching
you want it smooth…so you render. If you have a feature length movie and have difficulty getting it exported
in a timely manor, then you can set the sequence for example to use the prores (mac only)
codec and render sections until the entire sequence is rendered, then do an export
very quickly by selecting “use render files.” -

and it’s showing how they want with empty stems save for the last two.
and though the stream is set for 1, it is for 8 independent channels…the + to add more is
not an option in that configuration.David, this looks good to me…I wonder if that last thing you did in quicktime
is somehow summing the two together. when you play it are both meters registering
identical peaks or are they bouncing independently up and down when playing back
like a stereo file should?also that bit about exporting as separate files check box (my mistake) only
comes up if you export audio only. It will not show when exporting quicktime.
(I do that for DCP encoding)
