how long does it take to clone a drive?

you could damage the 1394 port if you switch the HDV/DV switch while the camera is powered on….if you were not aware.

Just an FYI that 99% of the time that can be fixed by simply
making a copy of the disc. It strips away what ever that extra layer of incompatability is.I have always put very high regards to the Panasonic line of DVD Recorders and recommend them to any professional here.
To this day they have the best picture quality and reliability of operation.
I have had mine since August 2001 (DMR-E30 model)its got
over 2,100 hours on the laser diode and I still use it every week.

This kinda reminds me of the .tif file format bug that makes imported sequences sometimes show as upside down.

Theres the Toshiba SD-H903A internal burner coming out soon.
funny that some places sell the blank media but the only use for it
is from a toshiba laptop with the only burner available today. -

If Disk Warrior can’t recover it, it likely can’t be recovered without spending thousands of dollars.
Avoid any access to the drive until its checked out.
