Oh yes, remember the little gauge you screwed onto the vacuum guide to setup the head distance so the head penetration would be within setting peramiters? Turret lenses, telops (having nothing to do with telephone operations), balops, and the list goes on.

Not that this is what you are gonna want to hear, but the legal requirement is stated as 14 scan lines. that is readable on a scope. Font sizes may vary due to the structure of the fonts. So a font size is not always the same therefore saying a 14 line font is not necessarily 14 scan line. Ya gotta have a scope and count the scan lines. that is the only safe way to do it.

That was going to be my suggestion. Ordinarily such players as boom boxes etc. are not running at a sync speed so the audio could be running faster or slower and you never know this til you try to put a clean track to it.

You can open the bins and use anything out of them as long as you use your own bin for sequences and any effects etc. If you don’t put anything into the other bin or take anything out, you can use whatever is in it with no problems at all.

There are too many variables possible to estimate with no more information than you gave. I would hope you are including your time at the shoots. There will always be something that wasn’t shot, or looked better in the field. If there are no re-shoots available you will have to construct some elements to fill. You just can’t really plan for those.
