Why would you want to start off with a compressed (WMV) then compress it again into a Flash video. Don’t you think it would be best to start with an uncompressed AVI file and compress it into a Flash video?

You may look at the corporate videos on my website for opening ideas. I like to use attention grabbing or interesting 15 to 30 second intros in my videos.

I believe your barking up the wrong tree. What the tech support guy was probably referring to was a Flash rendering option of deinterlacing your final Flash video. Many Flash encoders have a deinterlacing option. It is best to use an AVI file to encode to Flash rather than a WMV.

I also vote for the Sony VX2000 and VX2100. The GL2 is a toy in comparison. But if you can go hi-def for $2,000, I would do that.

You have uploaded a flv file, which plays automatic. What you need is a jpg or gif photo with an associated “html” link to a swf file. When a viewer clicks on the jpg or gif then the html will start up the swf flash video. An example of this can be found on my website for the Ozzy Osbourne video. The program you use to make your flash video should have an option to make a swf and html for that swf.

Yes, as Mike said, you can make all those bitrates in Vegas. Just start with a presewt, then change it and save it with a new name.
