    Andy, my experience with audio recordings is that it is best to make your recordings with computers off (and use an audio recorder) or go in another room with a long mic cable since the fan noise is always picked up by our mics. A good/cheep investment would be to use a Sony Minidisk recorder with a good mic. (Sony is what we use). This lets you record at any location and overcome any sound card/computer noise.

    Attention Sony Vegas: I too would like to know if the highlights layers in Popdrop DVD menus work with DVDA3.

    Also, regarding the popdrop menus; can the templates be used in 16:9 format without distortion or problems? What exactly is required to do so?

    You are not correct. Your stills will not dictate what aspect ratio will be shown or if its letterboxed.
    Keep the veg project in 16:9; keep the DVDA project in 16:9. Use a 16;9 monitor to see what your doing.
