to see DVD subtitles in WMP, You need to make that selection on your DVD menu to show them. Closed captions may be seen in Windows Media Player by clicking: “Play–Captions & Subtitles–On”.
Subtitles don’t play in WM player. You need to use Excalibur to turn your subtitles in Vegas veg into closed caption text, then render. What Excalibur does is, it converts “regions” which are = to “subtitles”; into “command markers” which are = to “closed captions”.
Your shot list is very good. You may want to get fancy while you have the chance, and also take some pan shots from the same angle. This will give the effect that the camera is moving around the subject after you key them in.
Ha I know this one. Using Excalibur is the best/easiest way; but if you dont have it (shame on you, insert an audio envelope; add ancor nodes; lower the nodes where you want the audio lower. (usually to about
-12db).
