I took a look at the file, unfortunately I didn’t found any way to alleviate the problem. Nor I am able to help with that scripting, Sorry.
For what its worth, you’re already getting a pretty nice result in the first test. I can imagine what you’ll end up with after some final touches. Good luck.

Its not that hard to understand, no. I can imagine what you’re getting.
If you’re somehow able to make it work with a collapsed composition. The scalling up/down will probably work. But you’ll have to pre-deform the wrinkles to compensate for the ratio difference from your current wrinkle comp to the main comp.
Upload a stripped down version so I can see if I’ll figure something out, other than that…

And it doesn’t do anything if you scale the wrinkles comp down/up?

You can default the interpolation(spacial) to linear, its a checkbox in the general options if I’m not wrong.

I still get h264 options inside quicktime using AME, windows 10 and CC17.
But still, you’re supposed to use the h264 encoder anyway, no?
As for intermediates, DNxHr is great, specially if you’re doing edits in premiere, It’s pretty fast to work with those (up to 4k.)

I’m not sure you’ll be able to get around that. If you make a boole operation in a 3d app thats what you get. Since you’re using a 3d engine to do the extrusion it is probably working as intended. Once your merge paths operation eats up an essential vertix and passes to the 3d engine. It has to create the faces from different starting points. Thus the aproximation artifacts IMO.

he probably dragged the composition while holding down the alt key… so it replaces the footage.

Just so we are in the same page, did you took a screenshot of your layers and imported them to the program? Is that a screen shot of your viewport?
