Such projects with 2d elements and AE cameras will make almost no use of your GPU. It’s all in the CPU. Thats why you’ll see the same performance of a 1080 and a quadro.

I’m using a Samsung LU28E590DS (model may vary. I’m in Brazil)
Ae works fine doing previews, although I get times in which the first time it previews after cached It may drop some frames and go to 20 something. After the second play it goes smoothly (So maybe its more of a RAM issue than interface).

Mine only gets odd if somehow it ain’t starting at 0;00;00;00. You should check that in the composition settings. Other than that perhaps if you have an unusual fps setting?

I’ll bet on faulty hardware. Try to remove, clean and reinsert the GPU and the RAM. IMO theres little way a software could completely hang the machine (the blue screens), unless its associated with some hardware problem.
OR exchange the gpu and ram from one station to the other for tests. You’ll may have a chance to at least pinpoint hardware or software.

December 7, 2017 at 11:37 am in reply to: Cinema 4D To After Effects Objects Motion DataNot a “compositing” tag, you need an “external compositing” tag. Make sure you’re going for the right one.
You also need geometry in the object (I’ve had times in which parametric objects did not work).
If all fails, turn on save animation for melange, under Preferences -> Files. (this may increase your file size considerably)
If you still can’t get it, upload the file and I’ll help you out. Because probably you will need to bake stuff.

Usually to render a wireframe one would sweep all (or some) edges with a thin circle. Unless you use a specifc plugin/addon that does that.
What type of “grow” do you want to show? To make something nice I’d advise you to keep things inside the 3D max and animate there. Breaking stuff by parts and positioning/scalling them to place. I’m way more into C4D, and I could do that with a few clicks there. I’m not sure how to automate that in 3ds MAX.
You could bring it after into AE if you want to composite the “wireframe” over the actual beauty render. Usually a light glow with the add mode does wonders.
If you have access to Element 3D, It has a wireframe mode, but that will constrain you during the animation (lacking options). And a true wireframe is usually too much information to just place over your image.

See if it helps.
The sphere is already reacting to the camera, so just animate that. If you change the radius inside the effect you have to offset the pinned objects position also.

You should open it up in AE, go to the problematic frame, set your viewport to full, and enable everything (motion blur and etc.) This should give you the error, and probably a way to debug it (go turning layers on/off, until it renders). If it doens’t give you any problens and it renders, save this frame and the rest to an image sequence. Re-import, import your audio and export to your desired format.
