I could see data DVD’s with uncompressed QT files for ingest into a station’s media assest system or NLE. It would work for :30 sec spots.
Regular video DVD’s–peeeee-uuuuu!
I am still trying to wrap my head around why someone would want to buy 32, 42, or 52 inch projection TV’s and now $2500 to $6000 LCD TV’s to have so much screen real estate to see all the compression artifacts of our current digital delivery systems.

If this is QuickTime 7 Pro from an upgrade then you have probably been downgraded to QuickTime 7 Player from QuickTime 6.5 Pro.
You will have to pony-up $29.95 to register it as Pro or wait until you can get a QT Pro version from FCP 5.

At a minimum you could get by with just a video patch bay with something like a Mackie 1402-VLZ or 1642-VLZ Pro mixer for audio routing and mixing and at least a Horita BSG-50 Multiple Output Black Burst & Tone Generator for sync and reference.
Beware going to loop-thru hell,
BrycePS You really need a video engineer/consultant that has real world experience with video distribution which use to be a black art in old world linear editing suites and production facilities.

You need to read this post. Basically you try an isolate the offending noise by boosting it above your intended audio since it is easier to focus on the annoying noise and when you find it and its envelope (its frequency and width) dip the previously boosted frequency until it is gone or acceptable.
