  • The SSD external on the laptop is plugged in via USB C which also has a cable to convert USB C to USB 3 since my desktop doesn’t have USB C port. Both laptop and desktop are windows 10 pro 64 bit machines.

says video previews on both machines are AVC-Intra Class100 1080p in the sequence settings.

It picks up all three people and I also have a shotgun on a stand next to the table you can’t see I blend the two together. Sounds fine

[Mark Suszko] “I can also tell from that still grab, you have a lot of audio problems ahead of you. “

um no, Audio sounds great. In fact an audio engineer is mixing it. It’s a lav mic and it picks up all three people perfectly fine. No distortion nothing.

[Dave LaRonde] “Oh, there’s one thing — you can check to see if you do indeed need 4×3…. which should be a no-brainer.

isn’t all SD 4:3 or is that not true?

  • here is the problem.

My boss refuses to get releases, Tells me she doesn’t have time for that etc. Even when I’ve tried explaining I would do all that for her. My boss has me backed in a corner and wants to me to upload a video on her website which has footage from inside a shopping mall. The mall owner didn’t ask us to leave but told me I wasn’t really supposed to be filming there.

  • [john sharaf] “The disturbing part of your question to me is that you “keep or split rights” to materials you shoot as an employee.”

Not sure why you assumed there is no contract. In fact there is an agreement in writing to splitting the rights etc

[Ole Kristiansen] “If your footage come from avchd – then no !”

Well this is interesting. After several tests quality 4 is better than quality 3 with avchd. I transcoded two tests for quality 3 and 4 and imported them in premiere. I then put each cineform file above the avchd file and changed the program monitor window to 100 percent view and turned on and off the track view for the cineform file. quality 3 was blurry vs the avchd file while quality 4 was the same as the avchd file

I asked for their specifications and I’m just told -12d. They won’t explaij anything else. My friend thinks this is their way way of denying to air my film not sure why they would deny it when I filled out an application the stations saw the film said they would air it but said the audio has to be different. I even followed these instructions https://larryjordan.com/articles/premiere-pro-cc-loudness-radar-and-average-audio-levels/

Even after using he plugin in mentioned in this article stations say it’s still not right.

Okay, this is ridiculous. I lowered it even more. Sent the stations a new video file and now I’m being told the audio is too quiet. What the heck is going on?

    Ummmm,

When did I ever mention I was airing this on PBS? Also, I can’t send them the raw footage. I already edited my film. Second of all the public access stations told me to send them a dvd as a high quality master. I’m only following their rules. Third, I won an award for this film at a film festival with max peak at -6db. I don’t need anyone to color grade edit etc. I just need to find out why the audio isn’t working right.
