I figure the DVD won’t take too long. I’ll just clean up the video a bit and won’t create a menu or anything too fancy.
My concern is that their budget may not have too much money for a videographer but at the same time if my quote is too low I’ll have trouble setting higher prices in the future. Most of my work is coming from word of mouth.

Thanks for the reply, but if you read my post you would see that I did do my research and FCP Remover has not succeeded in completely removing everything. There is some part of Final Cut 7 still in my machine somewhere and I cannot install Final Cut 6.

thanks for responding. After doing some research, I understand the limitations of the 7D. The 12min shooting time, the shaky footage, poor mic. But its the only thing I can afford right now so I kind of need to make it work. I would love to get a Sony or Panasonic but its just not in my budget yet.

Thanks for the advice, I plan on learning about all this stuff once I have the camera in my hands. I like the 7D because of the price, the beautiful shots it captures and I also plan on shooting music videos and mini docs in the future. So I need to think long term as well, it wont be strictly sports.

Thanks for the advice so far, hopefully i dont have to settle for just a tshirt. But I’ll probably shoot everything in one day and spend a few weeknights editing.

I’ve been using On2VP6 but I’m very new to flash encoding. I have been able to create a clip the size of 30MB but the quality is terrible. The previous editor, who posted this clip https://www.berdonllp.com/ecast/ was able to pull it off. I’ve taken the info you put on there and will run some tests.
