Whenever I have AE CS5 open and I’m working, my machine acts a bit sluggish. But what most odd, is that Safari will not be able to load or play any videos from any website.

    Anyone seen this before?

    Thanks. I’ll look into that.

I think AE CS5 does have some memory issues. For instance, I cannot use an external keyboard with my MacBook Pro (with 6 GB memory) running AE CS5. I have allotted 3gb for AE and 3gb for “other programs”. That should be sufficient to allow keyboard drivers to work. However, after working for a few minutes, the keyboard disappears and I no longer get any response from the keys. I can only use the laptop’s keyboard with any certainty.

I had a similar problem with a ShuttleProV2. When it “disappeared” I used System Preferences/About this Mac… etc. and that seemed to “wake up” the memory…

    Weird…

    Regards,

    Don
