May 19, 2014 at 2:40 pm in reply to: Choosing a Single Audio Track for Multicam Use

My work around, which may be incorrect, is that after I have set up the multicam time line, I go back and copy the audio I want to use and paste it into the multicam line. Then I lock it up and roll. It will add a new soundtrack as you edit. You can choose not to use it by shutting it off when you completed the edit.
    Hope this help

    I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 on a IMAC 27, Intel core i5 2.7 GHz, 12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3… MAC OSX 10.6.8 I have a 2 2 Terabyte external drives also.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Any chance you can send the file for CS 5.5?

  • Hi Tim,

    Thanks for the reply…

If someone was available for me to access I probably would have visited that solution…

    Presently that option isn’t available.

  • CS 5.5 thanks. I still need to. Figure out how to even use a template.

  • John… Thanks for your reply. I am on a Mac and the file you were kind enough to send me is a Windows file…

  • Hey Stan… Thanks for the “simple solution…” Your reply was appreciated… Now if adding chapter buttons and titles was that easy I would be in heaven…

  • At the risk of sounding ignorant, what is a flattened file?

Each spot is between 1-1:30 minutes and I want to compile them on one timeline. There may be 20 different timelines to put together…

Do I flatten them with a rolling pin?

My apology for not knowing what you meant.

  • Thanks for your reply. I’ll give it a try but I am not that familiar with Photoshop yet.

I was trying to work a pre built button set up in Encore…

  • Bill, thank you for your reply. I have opened a pre built layout in Encore and i can see somewhat how it may work.

My problem is I do not understand how to enter the right settings to make it work properly…

I have 12 chapters and the markers are on the timeline… I do not need picons, thumbnails, photo buttons… I just need to give each button a title…

I spend some additional hours but I feel that all I will accomplish is wasting more time…

I know I am not stupid but this program is making me feel that way.

Perhaps I need a walk through or a set of directions that actually work.

    Thanks again,
