Interesting…..
This makes sense. I have a 4k sequence (ridiculous, I know for a web video. Whatever, not my choice).
I did some text callout overlays in After Effects – in AE because they “flame on”.
It took like two hours to render my Premiere sequence.
I went back into the same AE project to do a logo animation. Did not touch my callouts comp.
Now back in Premiere, my render files are all gone.
It should be noted, that rather than render comps in AE to Animation QTs, I am just importing the comps unrendered using Adobe Dynamic Link. Keep things Flexible like.
Also, last night I rendered the logo animation in Premiere. I have not since gone back to open AE or modify the AE project. But the render files for the logo animation are gone. There is a part of this that keys over the video.
Using Premeire CS6.
Seems to be an annoying problem, I wonder if rendering Animation QTs out of AE with Alpha channels will be quicker than laying in the AE comps with dynamic link, esp if the render files keep dissapearing. From above sounds like now, but any info would be good.
Why hasn’t Adobe fixed this if this problem seems to go back (based on thread) from CS3 all way up to 6????!!!!
