You are getting Elemental streams, you need to turn multiplexing on, select the multiplexing tab in the Media Encoder window, if you don’t see the extra tabs in media encoder window click on the little circle with the two arrow heads to the right in the line with ExportVideo/ExportAudio check boxes

What kind of formats are do you want to view, I view quite a few formats with the intensity pro, you are not stuck with the Blackmagic formats except you need to start a BM project to be able to use the card and then you can use one of their presets or goto the General tab and select the editing mode you want, I use the Desktop mode mostly because I use Cineform, because I can use the footage with differnent programs or Xplatform.

If they are not your files its possible there is content protection on them, or the files are corrupted, you can do a netsearch for a “filefix” for corrupted wmv files

You ought to mention what your system specs are and what operating system is, and how you are configuring your hard drives.

A good idea would be to run dianostics on your drives you could have a bad sector somewhere, either where a file is being cached or on a source drive.

The source and program monitors are basically a editing aid, they are not really good for previewing/grading, I notice you are using a ntsc workflow, are you going to output to dvd or other type of normal video or Web/computer video? if DVD/Video you should be previewing/grading on a external video monitor, I notice you are using a Blackmagice DV codec, do you have the associated hardware? if so it has a video out to use with a external monitor, a reasonable WS TV that can take a calibration can serve for DVD/video or if for broadcast a decent broadcast monitor should be used, and if possible with the appropriate scopes, something like Blackmagic’s Ultra, if for web/computer a second computer monitor can be used for previewing/grading

The reason I was asking is that external usb drives can cause problems sometimes, and you had mentioned (from the USB drives)If disabling your virus scanners doesn’t do anything, try rebuilding the plug-in cache file by holding down the shift when starting Ppro and holding it till the project selection screen shows.

You only have one internal harddrive? and the rest are external USB drives? what kind of source material are you editing?

When its played back from tape and transfered to a computer via firewire or HDMI its still 1440×1080 anamorphic, the only way you can get full 1920/1080 is to use the HV20 as a live camera head and capture via hdmi, or capture component, if you capture live cam via firewire you get 1440×1080
