you can close the spline but spline dynamics are meant for hair and ropes and threads etc it’s not likely something that will work. I’d try cheating, just follow a spline with a bit of bend to make it look loose and perhaps an effector with a falloff along the ground to orient the lugs the right way.

it looks like you need to paint weights for your joints. It looks like the influence of the ‘bone’ there is too wide (which can happen) and if you paint the body vertexes with a weight of zero (for that bone/joint) the body won’t follow the arm.

what’s the long term goal? to have more than the one clone I would guess, going off in a a wave or randomly? But aligning to spline and cloning won’t give you that, I think, since all the cloned align to spline tags would all point to the original spline not the cloned instances you are (I think) hoping for.

that’s the places to look so those commands must not be in Lite, the only alternate I know of is MagicMerge but that doesn’t work in Lite either.

it doesn’t really that takes you through an upload process which gives you a link you can copy/paste back into the original but there is an easier way, just drag and drop the file into the message window and it does it automatically.

it will bake to Alembic in R20 but fbx seems to be a problem (even baking to alembic then trying to export that)

the way to scale animation and the model is to use Object mode rather than Model mode but if you have a joint hierarchy separate from the model hierarchy they both need to be in a null which you then scale. I don’t know if it’s the same with a character/cmotion workflow

perhaps you could use Mograph Tracer to generate a spline for the camera to follow (with some preroll to get it going) or at least give you a reference spline when working out the camera placement

you get that tag if you hold the “.” (period key) and left-click drag with an editable object, sounds like the key was stuck on (either physically or in the software somewhere)
